Persia Georgiou

Born in Nicosia in 1995. She has been involved with dancing from an early age and attended Dance and Music Theater courses at the Dance Academy of Antigoni Tassouri. She successfully passed all the IDTA Ballet, Modern, Tap, Jazz exams.

She is a graduate of the Laine Theatre Arts London-Diplomas in Professional Dance of LTA and Trinity College London. 
She holds DDI   Modern teaching diplomas and also I.D.T.A Licentiate Diploma in Ballet.
She is a graduate of the University of Middlesex London on “BA (Hons) Professional Practice in Arts / Dance”.
Since 2016 she is a dance teacher at Antogni Tsouri Dance Academy.
As a professional dancer she participated in performances at “LEXI” and “DENTRO” theaters.

A member of the professional dance group “Morfi” with participation in various television musical performances, theatrical performances & musicals and in promotional events.

Avyi Michael

Avyi Michael was born in Nicosia on the 22nd December 1980. She commenced her studies in Dance at the University of Western Sydney, Australia, continuing with a scholarship in Musical Theatre at SLP College Leeds, UK.

Avyi has 3 IDTA Associate Teaching Diplomas in Ballet, Modern Jazz, and Tap. Her teaching experience includes a year of full time teaching for Ms Yvonne E Gout in London, and a further 8 years part time teaching for Wendy Foster Theatre School in North Lincolnshire, UK, during which she also undertook charge of choreography for numerous dance festivals. Since 2015, having returned to Cyprus, she has been teaching Ballet, Tap, and Modern Jazz at Antigoni Tasouri Dance Academy.

Avyi has been performing from the young age of 15 as part of the dance group ‘Morfi’ which was televised live weekly on national TV station CYBC, under the management of Antigoni Tasouri. Beyond the different kinds of dance numbers, the group was also backing for a number of popular artists who were presented on the show. Lastly, she performed in ‘Aladdin’ as part of the dance ensemble of Antigoni Tasouri Dance Academy.

Eleni Giorgaki 

Eleni Giorgaki was born in Nicosia on the 29th of July, 1997. She studied Musical Theatre Dance with a scholarship at SLP College in Leeds,UK. 

She has an IDTA  Freestyle Teaching diploma and an ΙDTA Ballet Associate Teaching diploma both completed with distinction. Furthermore, she has a BA degree in 

“Professional Practice, Arts and Creative Industries” from Middlesex University, UK.

During her studies in England she participated in many shows such as “Checkmate”(Slaithwaite Philharmonic Orchestra), “Move It Dance Event 2018” (London, UK) and the  “Promo Video for the Timeless Show Girls” (Leeds,UK). Since 2018, when she moved back to Cyprus, she has been teaching at “Antigoni Tasouri Dance Academy”. She teaches ballet, ballet progressive, contemporary, jazz, modern jazz and commercial(heels). She can also train students for attending Ballet Competitions or students that will like to study dance abroad. In 2019, she choreographed a contemporary piece for the Academy’s students to the IDO Competition and they won the first place.

Moreover,  during her stay in Cyprus, she took part in the musicals “Staxtopouta kai to spathi ton evxon” and “Aladdin”.  She also danced in shows and events like “Madame Figaro 2019”, “All Star Basketball” ,”Charity Event”, “Cyprus Tourism Awards”, “ORKOS EOKA” and “Super Music Awards 2019”.  As an actor and a dancer she showed up in TV series in Cyprus like   “Pantremenoi kai oi dio”, “La Familia” ,”La casa de Mikel’’, “ Happy Hour” and “Xalkina Xronia». Lastly, she performed in the music video clip of Giorgos Stamataris with the name “Se xreaizomai“.

Stavrina Kousparou

Stavrina is a Dancer, Teacher and Choreographer.

She studied at Bird College UK, with a DaDa award in Professional Musical Theatre. Then, she continued her studies at University of Surrey Guildford for her BA (Hons) Degree in Theatre. She has an IDTA Pre-Associate Ballet and ISTD DDI Modern Teaching Diplomas. She is a versatile dancer and teacher with advance skills in Commercial, Jazz Funk, Heels, Hip Hop, Contemporary and Partner Work.

Her most recent work was a dancer for MABEL at the “BRIT AWARDS 2020” in O2 Arena. During her studies, she performed in many UK events such as Move It, Dancers Delight and World of Dance. She worked for the cruise Tallink Siljia line (Jammy Shows & Productions) as a dancer. She participated in the immersive show “WELCOME TO THE GRAND”, the Pantomime “SLEEPING BEAUTY” (Polka Dot Company) and the “FASHION WITH A TWIST” flash mob (Living the Dream).

Stavrina has performed in many TV shows and music videos in the UK such as, the music video “Cold” by Rae Morris ft Fryars, “ANT & DEC’S SATURDAY NIGHT TAKEAWAY” on ITV and “THE ONE SHOW” on BBC.

She worked as Choreographer for the cruise Tallink Siljia Line (Jammy Shows & Productions) in UK. She has choreographed for the Cyprus Junior Eurovision entry, in Georgia 2017. Since moving back to Cyprus, she has been choreographing for the team of Antigoni Tasouri Dance Academy for Hip Hop competitions.

Stavrina was a student of Antigoni and now is very excited to share her passion and work experience as a Teacher at Antigoni Tasouri Dance Academy.

Andreas Michalopoulos

Andreas Michalopoulos was born in Nicosia, Cyprus, in 1987. He joined the National Conservatory of Cyprus at the age of 7. He pursued his undergraduate studies at the Music Department of the Ionian University (Corfu, Greece) with a full scholarship from the ’State Scholarships Foundation’ of Greece. In 2012, he graduated from the Ionian University with ‘Honours’ receiving a ‘High Score Prize’ and joined the University of Bristol (UK) for pursuing a master’s degree in ‘Composition of Music for Film and Television’ with a grant from ‘The A. G. Leventis Foundation’. He graduated from the University of Bristol with a ‘Master of Arts’ in 2014.

AnnieTrillidou – Santi

AnnieTrillidou – Santi was born in Nicosia and started piano, voice and music theory lessons at a young age. She studied classical singing in Italy with Aida Meneghelli at the Conservatory of Verona in 2001 and at the University of Bridgeport in America the following year. She continued her music studies at the Music Academy ARTE in Nicosia under the guidance of Pitsa Spyridaki and Giannos Savvides as her piano tutors and Svetlana Krasnova as her vocal coach. She received a piano diploma and a diploma in classical singing. In 2006 she graduaded with a BA Honours in Music from Middlesex University and she won the David Turton prize for musical performance. She also completed her performance diploma of the Royal Schools of Music for piano and the ATCL performance diploma of the Trinity College London in singing. In 2008 she completed her BA in Music with scholarship from the Music Academy ARTE and in 2010 her Masters in Psychology for Musicians from the University of Sheffield. During her studies she took part in several master classes with Katherine Mikic, Tijiana Sojat, Martino Tirimo, Ruth Hart, Denise Graves, Cornelius Claudio Kreusch and the Allegri Quartet.

She has two CD singles: “Ligi hara gia ti Mona”, a song with which she took part at the local contest for Eurovision in 1998 and won the 3rd place and a second Christmas CD single “Me stefania trexte oloi”. In 2007 she took part in the 16th annual competition for the Cypriot song composition with her own composition and won the performance prize.

She performed many times as a soloist in several occasions, the most important of which are concerts with the Cyprus Symphony orchestra, the choir “Polyphony”, the French rock band Kebous as well as two recent solo recitals.

She has considerable performing and teaching experience of more than fifteen years and many of her students have successfully passed auditions and are now studying abroad.

She currently works as a vocal coach and piano accompanist at Antigoni Tasouri’s Dance Academy and as a piano instructor and vocal coach at A.I. Musiclab in Nicosia.

Paris Iakovou

Paris Iakovou Is an experienced teacher in Break Dance bboying since 2014.He has a Bachelor Degree in Sports & Exercise Science and continues to develop his skills in pedagogy for both athletes and dancers. Paris has been dancing since 2007 and has competed in various Break Dancing competitions in Greece and Cyprus claiming 1st and 2nd place medals. His goal is to teach and share his vision and passion for the incredible art form and freestyle of bboying and break dance to youngsters of all ages and inspire and train his students to reach their highest potential through various competitions and events.
